Story so far

Throughout my varied career that spans over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people in a range of settings including hospital, the community and clients’ own homes.  For the past 12 years, I have specialised in working in educational settings with children and young people with autism and other types of neurodiversity, intellectual disabilities and sensory processing disorders as well as emotional and mental health support needs.

In every role, I’ve seen the unique challenges faced by both staff and service users. At the heart of it all, we all want the same thing: to feel safe and happy  in our environments and living and learning successfully. The amount of support and scaffolding we need to be able to do this can vary greatly

Currently, I balance my independent practice with a key role supporting young people with autism and their families, as well as the professionals who work with them. This blend of work allows me to stay connected to the practical realities of the field while continuing to grow and share my expertise.
